Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026 · Last updated: October 8, 2026

BMAT (“Bring Me A Trade”, “we”, “us”) is an invite-only stock-screening and alert tool. This policy explains, in plain terms, exactly what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and the control you have over it. We keep data collection deliberately minimal: no advertising, no tracking cookies, no selling of your data — ever.

1. Who we are

BMAT is a web application operated at bringmeatrade.com. It lets registered users describe stock-screening criteria in plain English and receive email alerts when US-listed stocks begin to meet those criteria. The service is provided for informational purposes only and is not financial advice (see Section 11).

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Information generated by using BMAT

What we do not collect

BMAT stores a login token in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in. This is a functional authentication mechanism, not an advertising or cross-site tracking cookie, and it never leaves your device except to authenticate you to BMAT.

3. How we use your information

We process this data to provide the service you signed up for (contractual necessity) and to keep it secure and functioning (our legitimate interest in operating a safe service).

4. Service providers we share data with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share the minimum necessary with a small set of infrastructure providers (“subprocessors”) that help us run BMAT:

ProviderPurposeWhat it receives
RailwayApplication hosting & database (United States)All data needed to run the app, stored in our database
Anthropic (Claude)Powers the AI assistantThe chat messages you send to the assistant
Resend (email delivery)Sends verification, reset, and alert emailsYour recipient email address and the email contents
Google FontsLoads the page’s typefacesYour IP address, as part of the standard web request to fetch fonts
Market-data providers
(TradingView, Financial Modeling Prep)
Supply stock prices & fundamentalsStock ticker symbols only — never your identity or personal data

Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms. We share only what the function requires, and market-data lookups are never tied to your identity.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of BMAT and its users.

5. How your data is stored and secured

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

6. How long we keep data

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual alerts and criteria at any time from within the app. When you delete your account, we delete your account record, your criteria, your alert history, and your saved conversations (see Section 7). Routine operational logs are retained only for a limited period for security and debugging, then discarded.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA/CPRA (California) — including the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Because BMAT does not sell or share personal data for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To exercise any right, contact us (Section 12) and we will respond within the timeframe the law requires.

8. International users

BMAT is hosted in the United States. If you access it from outside the US, you understand your data will be processed in the US and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.

9. Children’s privacy

BMAT is a tool for financial-market information and is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of BMAT after a change means you accept the revised policy.

11. Not financial advice

BMAT provides automated, informational alerts based on criteria you define. It does not provide personalized investment advice or recommendations, and nothing it produces should be treated as a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Always do your own due diligence.
